This time we will enhance that custom function so you can implement a spotlight-like portal filter in your solution without the need of any SQL knowledge.
We are pleased to announce the availability of a public beta of our AutoSender 2 product for Mac & Windows.
AutoSender is a tool that runs on the FileMaker Server, and allows you to automatically send mail messages from your FileMaker solutions.

This is a simple example that demonstrates how to use conditional formatting with the myFMbutler DoSQL plug-in in order to display a running clock in FileMaker.
This example requires that the DoSQL plug-in be installed. You can download DoSQL here.
If you are upgrading or have already upgraded to MacOS 10.5 Leopard, the public beta of Clip Manager 2.0, which can be downloaded here, is compatible with FileMaker 9 on Leopard.
Clip Manager and FileMaker 9v1 will generally work fine in Leopard (as long as your international formats are set to 'US' - see also FileMaker announces date for Mac OS X Leopard compatibility update).
If you are using Spaces, however, there may be some issues when trying to copy or paste Custom Functions to and from FileMaker, using GUI scripting. In order to make sure that everything works properly, make sure you assign Clip Manager and FileMaker to the same Space, otherwise you may get unexpected results.
Ever since we released Clip Manager 1.0 earlier this year, we received great feedback from lots of customers. In the meantime, the product has become an indispensable tool for quite a number of FileMaker developers.
